Green Inn GI is a family-friendly bed & breakfast in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County, about a 5-minute walk from Chaozhou Train Station and close to the Japanese-era heritage park and Zhongzheng Road old street. It is a convenient base for Kenting, Sandimen and the Shanchuan Glass Suspension Bridge. Rooms include the themed Noah's Ark and Choo-Choo Train family rooms plus double, triple and quad rooms, with handmade breakfast, free parking, free bicycles and coin-operated laundry.

Our private car park is free for guests and right beside the inn, so unloading luggage is easy.
How to park: Follow the two yellow arrows and reverse into the space so the front of your car faces the inn wall.

Our spacious ground-floor lounge has comfy sofas, a reading corner, board games and a kids' play area — perfect for family time or a relaxed chat with fellow travellers.

Bicycle Rental
Free bicycles for guests. Ride into town for local street food or cruise along the railway — the best way to experience Chaozhou at a slow pace.

A coin-operated washer and dryer are located behind the ground-floor elevator — handy on longer trips. Hot and cold water dispensers are on every floor, and the elevator makes large luggage and strollers easy.

For stays of 2 nights, bed linen is not changed (ask at reception if needed); we replace towels and collect rubbish.
Single-use items such as razors, combs and toothbrushes are not provided — please bring your own.

House Rules
- Book by phone (8 am – 9 pm Taiwan time) or LINE (ID: @gi5567).
- A booking is confirmed only after we receive your deposit and the last 5 digits of the sending account.
- Payment by cash on arrival or bank transfer only. Credit cards are not accepted. International guests may pay the full amount in cash on arrival.
- No extra beds. Children under 5 stay free without a bed (no amenities or breakfast). Guests aged 5 and over: NT$600 per person per night (incl. breakfast); NT$1,000 during Lunar New Year.
- Baby bathtubs, bed rails, kettles and bottle sterilisers are limited — please request in advance.
- Check-out is 11:00. Late check-out is NT$200 per hour.
- No pets. Violations are charged 3 times the room rate.
- No cooking or barbecue services.
- Strictly no smoking indoors. Violations: NT$2,000 cleaning fee plus 2 nights' full room rate.
- Illegal drugs and dangerous items are strictly prohibited and will be reported to the police.
- No over-occupancy. Visitors who are not registered guests are not permitted.
- Parking is limited. When full, please use the car park by the train station (about 200 m away).
- Quiet hours after 10 pm — no loud noise or running.
- Room items must not be removed; damage will be charged at cost.
- Please look after your own valuables.
- Breakfast is served within 10 minutes of your reserved time. No takeaway.
- Check-in 15:00–21:00 (15:30–21:00 on long holidays and Lunar New Year); check-out by 11:00. Early/late: NT$200 per hour.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If Pingtung County issues a land typhoon warning, you may receive a full refund or change dates once (within 6 months). Deposits are non-refundable for personal reasons or ordinary bad weather.

Staying at a Taiwanese B&B: What to Expect
Visiting from overseas? You can pay in cash on arrival. Taiwanese guesthouses usually ask for a bank-transfer deposit, but we know that is hard from abroad — just tell us when you book and pay the full amount in New Taiwan Dollars (NT$) at check-in.
Booking is by phone or LINE, not online
Like most family-run B&Bs in Taiwan, we take bookings directly. LINE is the free messaging app everyone in Taiwan uses; install it, search for the ID @gi5567 and send us your dates, room type and number of guests. Messages are the easiest way to reach us in English.
Deposits and bank transfers
Local guests confirm a booking by transferring half the room rate to our Taiwanese bank account. International guests do not need to do this — we hold the room for you and you pay in cash when you arrive.
Cash only — no credit cards
We accept New Taiwan Dollars in cash. Convenience-store ATMs in Taiwan (7-Eleven, FamilyMart) generally accept international cards, and there are several within a short walk of the inn and the train station.
Bring your own toiletries
Following Taiwan's environmental rules, we do not provide single-use items such as toothbrushes, razors or combs. Towels, shampoo, body wash and a hair dryer are provided in every room.
Check-in, keys and quiet hours
Check-in is 15:00–21:00 (15:30 on long holidays); please let us know your arrival time. Your room key card also operates the elevator. Quiet hours start at 22:00 out of respect for other families.
Breakfast is served on selected days
Our handmade breakfast is not offered every day. Ask when you book — if it is not available on your dates, Chaozhou First Market and the old street nearby have excellent local breakfast stalls from early morning.
